Dr. Hj. Zainuddin holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from University of Lincolnshire and Humberside, United Kingdom. Dr. Hj. Zainuddin was the Head of Human Resource and Administration Department at Proton Edar Sdn bhd (Subsidiary of Proton Berhad) from 1998 until 2003. He was the Head of Human Resources and Administration at PATI Sdn Bhd from 1993 until 1997. He has more than 25 years of working experience in the areas of human resource management and general office administration. On 1 April 2005, Dr. Hj. Zainuddin joined SYABAS and hold the position of Executive Director, Human Resource & Administration Division. 

      With his vast experience in handling occupational safety & health issues, he has been appointed as Board Member of national Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH) effective from 27th June 2013 to 28th February 2015. Dr. Hj. Zainuddin was appointed as the CEO of Suasa Efektif (M) Sdn. Bhd. on 1st March 2015.
